Classes are held by your organizer, Christine "La Maestra" Almeida. This is a wonderful way to get to know other dancers so that when you arrive at the Salsa clubs, you will know people and know what level they are dancing at. New Students and guest always welcome. No partner necessary!! By popular request the schedule is as follows:

Basic Bachata Class every Wednesday at 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

For new students who want to learn the Bachata. Before we teach the combinations, you need to learn the beat, the Bachata movement, the basic steps and the basic turns, and hand changes.

Intermediate Class (Salsa "on one")at 7:30 to 8:30 PM

This class focuses on new combinations. Christine "La Maestra" knows hundreds of combinations and will pass on a new combination every week. Then we will apply it to some that we have learned in the past.

Basic Salsa: 8:30 to 9:30 PM

Women you need to be leadable. Men you need to stay in charge, while making it enjoyable for a Salsera to dance with you. In the basics you will strengthen your lead and following capability.

      “ Starting from the basic Bachata was a good idea, but I wound up with a higher level of dancers and we had a blast! The intermediate level of Salsa had some great dancers. Some of the dancers had graduated from the basic and it was great to see them so prepared. A good foundation makes it easier on everyone. The Basic Salsa class was good but some of the dancers need to move up to the the intermediate-1 level. The classes had good vibes and everyone got to meet new people. ”

Refunds offered if:

  • the Meetup is cancelled

Additional notes: If you pay for all four weeks of the month, you will recieve two dollars off per week. Now is the time to act. Don't stand by the sidelines when everyone else is having fun!

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
