We have it all at the Milwaukee Baile Salsa Meetup Group. We have extraordinry special events, great socials and at the beginning of every month we offer Salsa, Merengue, Rueda, Or Bachata Instruction. You do not need a partner, and every level of dancer is welcome. Your organizer, Christine Almeida, instructor, performer, and producer of Salsa events (learn more about Chris at www.latindancecompany.biz) and will be your instructor. She teaches hundreds of Salsa combinations! The cost of the lessons are only $10 per lesson if you sign up for the month, and $12 for drop-ins. Classes are on a first come, first serve basis so don't wait til the last minute! June's Schedule is Bachata combinations - 6:30 to 7:30 Salsa Intermediate - 7:30 to 8:30 Salsa Basics - 8:30 to 9:30 DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE INCREDIBLE WORKSHOP SPONSERED BY LATIN DANCE COMPANY PRODUCTIONS COMING THIS SUNDAY MAY 31, 2009 AND OUR PARTY THIS FRIDAY, MAY 29TH.

I had a blast teaching the first Bachata lesson of June. We reviewd some steps for the new students and introduced new combinations for students who had their basics last month. Some of the fellas were a little timid about the Bachata concept, but they didn't seem to mind. They have to get over it, because we are just getting into the dips! We laughed, learned, and made new friends. Isn't that what dance instruction should be?
