Eileen Torres presents the Fourth Annual Tribute to Salsa Choreographers Awards and Dance Show at Zanzibar on the Waterfront, Thursday, November 20, 2008 in Washington, DC. Mark you calendars for a great dance show including salsa, rueda, tango, ballroom (mambo, cha-cha, rumba) and more. The show will be presented in two parts beginning at 9:30 pm.

Dance Team partial list: Salsa Fuego, Salsa Vive, Las Mambo Mamis, Latin Motion, Son Mulato, Ballroom Dance Company, Dance in Time, Azucar Moreno, Lynn La Martina, Los Rumberos Europeos, DC Salsa Meet Up Performance Group and more. DJs, Bruno “El Unico” & Manuel Martinz will play music for dancing before, in between and after the two-part dance show.

2008 Awardees- Kim Yates, Karen Aguilar and Keith Givens. In addition there will be a sale of Dance Shoes, Clothing Jewelry and Accessories. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Margaritas are $2.00 until 7 pm. A salsa video plays on the big screen beginning at 6 pm followed by a beginner dance class from 7-7:45 pm. Order a light dinner from the bar menu. Cover is $5.00 before 9 pm and $10 after 9 PM for this special event.
