This group is open to anyone (beginning to advanced dancers) looking to meet new people and Salsa dance in a fun and friendly environment!

Salsa is a very social dance, enjoyed around the world. It provices the perfect opportunity to connect with all kinds of different people. Portland is lucky to have a very large, and ever growing, Salsa community. There are Salsa performers who perform and compete all over the US. There are great Salsa DJ’s and local Salsa Bands. There are numerous local Salsa instructors. There are also, amazing Salsa clubs in Portland. And to top it all off, several times a year the city plays host to special Salsa weekends that are well attended by people from all over the US.

Most classes and dinner events posted here are open to all ages. Please note, however, that most dance events tend to be 21 and over (take place in night clubs with alcohol service).

We had such a great time dining with meetup members last month that we feel it is time for another round! Join us for dinner and drinks at Aztec Willie at 8:30. George Caceres will teach the beginning lesson at 9:30 and dancing will start around 10:30.

We will have a couple large tables reserved for dinner so please drop by.
