Hello Portland Salseros Meetup Members. If you are interested in taking lessons this summer please read along...We hope to see as many of you as possible in class this summer.

Our next session of lessons will begin the week of July 6, 2009. For the Summer our classes will run in 4 week sessions instead of 6 weeks.

Our next 4 week Intermediate series of Salsa, Bachata & Cha Cha Cha will be starting up on Monday, July 6, 2009 with George & Geneva of Sabor Latino.

Class Descriptions
Intermediate Salsa
Now that you've got the basics, lets get cooking! Learn footwork/shines, spinning technique for both leads and follows, styling and of course some really cool partnering that highlights both the leads and follows. Its' time to sizzle on the dance floor. Pre-Requisite: Beginning Salsa 2 series(Twice), 6 months experience or instructor approval)

Intermediate Bachata
Now that you have the basic fundamentals of Bachata its time to heat up the dance floor. In our Intermediate Bachata you will be expected to have the hip motion required to truly dance Bachata. Learn to be more stylistic while learning new and exciting moves to show off on the dance floor. This is a one of kind lesson that is not to be missed. Pre-Requisite: Beginning Bachata series or instructor approval.

Cha Cha Cha / Salsa On 2
This class is geared for Salsa dancers that have a solid foundation of Salsa On 1. Learn to find the Tumbao rhythm to help you understand how to dance Cha Cha Cha and Salsa On 2. You will focus on rhythm, timing and learn smooth partnerwork to have fun on the dance floor. Become one with the music as most Salsa On2 dancers have discovered. Join the On2 Revolution in Portland. Pre-Requisite: Solid Salsa On 1 dancer with a minimum 6-8 months of experience or instructor approval.
